CLASSES Although this is not a heavy dance workshop weekend, we will be providing free classes in authentic Lindy Hop and related dance styles thoughout the day on Saturday & Sunday. We will be bringing over some great international teachers for the weekend. There will be a selection of beginners and intermediate classes. They introduced Hollywood Style Lindy Hop to the UK in 2000 and have made this authentic Los Angeles 1940's style their speciality.They are former UK Lindy Hop Champions and have placed 4th twice in the World Championships. They are also the creators & choreographers of The Hollywood Hoppers swing dance team. Their work in videos for some of the biggest selling pop artists have led to regular appearances on TV screens all across the globe. They have wowed audiences worldwide for more than a decade.They are former U.S. Open & American Swing Dance Champions, have starred on Broadway in the hit Musical “Swing”, are world renowned, world class Lindy instructors often described as the “teachers of the teachers” and are probably two of the most well-known and respected names in the Jazz and Swing dance community today. Their film credits include Swing Kids and Malcolm X, The Polar Express, My Life In Idlewild and Lackawanna Blues. Recently year Ryan & Jenny were guest performers on the US version of “Strictly Come Dancing” called “Dancing with the Stars” the number 1 programme in the USA.
